RE-GEN, a project designed by Beatrice Soncina, is created with the aim of showing the environmental impact of fashion industry and changing its processes and behaviours, in order to reduce its impact. The researcher has explored the themes of circular and regenerative products and has studied in which way fashion could apply these principles, creating her own prototype.
RE-GEN socks and their packaging hit all of the circular design principles, while also being regenerative.
The packaging has been realized with biodegradable materials and it is totally green, thanks to the glue provided by Menichetti, that does not release any kind of harmful substances.
